Except the breeze everything is getting heavy Feels like I'm living in a bad TV show The world at large is staying in and watching me Stumble and stupor through a script I haven't learnt But jokes aside it seems I've led the chase to nowhere And nowhere's scenic so I guess I'll have to stay No destination set just yet I'll stay the author To hand the reigns it tempts me everyday As if they beg and plead we're asking nicely As if they're digging amphitheatres for my say Sunset falls enough to declare the day as over The waves remain just shuffling away God I really fight this? Can I really? God I really fight this? Can I? The waiting game remains a poor and distant allie A strange surrounding harbours me I thank it so The ocean air breeds squeaky doors I'll see them later Some give their power away and still they steal the show
3.
I'm breaking out upon the road Default escaping not exploding Running to or from a wall Save it up So I'll see it somewhere else
4.
There are by gone days that I long Can keep my world above and beyond The pull of gravity at it's best So I can float without a test But how I wrestle with the depths of reality Is my ego ready to be ego free Can I side with whoever will side with me Cause I am nothing if just left to vanity cause Gone are my days to call on thunder To shake this earth out from under Gone are my days to make my wishes free It's a self imposed state of exile I may bounce back once in a while But how long is a piece of string So let the sunlight break the clouds Where's that horizon you were bound Let's not forget the world is plenty So life liver are you looking for an answer? The scenic route is where you you'll find you missing signs Your signs they will find you Your signs they will find So let the sunlight break the clouds You can hold your head up proud
5.
Varit 05:38
Wait up come on take it easy now You've got all you can from the situation Tough love tough love He's haunted by deceit now You pushed him so he'll go and drown in desperation Maybe it wasn't his fault he was just stumbling So high to fall Our jealousy of dizzy nights Means we beam our aim upon him But I applaud So rounded this learning curve That it's formed into a circle
6.
Sunken treasures, will always seem so close But these murky waters Will always steal your ghost Doth you protest to much to you detest the idea that you approach Things and theories the oh so nearlys There's not enough air to make it back to the boat And we've said it many times before You know what you are Self confession is a bitter lesson I'd rather not endure And this song is my mirror And each time things clearer The wisdom of which is easier to ignore
7.
Resonate 04:34
So you told me to man up And so I did but I got the man flu So I thought I was out of action I stayed inside for satisfaction but that's how I missed you And I've got to stop wondering Is it time to improve So you told me to man up And so I did but I couldn't concentrate on more than one thing at a time I was stern but such a fool But still I would play it cool to stop my mind from wondering How come you resonate? Is there more at stake than I'm admitting Why do I crave for what I know is fake Why do I argue for the sake of who's not listening Because I'm not listening And I have got to stop wondering Is it time to improve But I'll try and promise you one thing And I'll promise you the truth
8.
There it is that look just aint gonna fit in Like a sore thumb stand out while the rest are sulking And though you think you've made your case Well they just think that you're a waste of space now You try to state oh so eloquently That these head games don't mean jack shit to me And though we know you like to fuss We just say fuck it time for a happy chorus Don't take me with you when you go home For centuries it seems we've tried to learn as we go It's all hypocrisy Mis-placing your priorities Don't take me with you when you go home When you go home If there's nothing original here Then I guess we're failing somewhere If it's only traditional then this click we've built is in a state beyond repair
9.
I've been fooling around with these people that I don't know Trying to keep up but I'm just far too slow So leave me a note now before you go that says "You've been another number that I can't count on my fingers So don't try to pretend there's something between us and Next time we meet well I just might greet you With a 'hi have we met like somewhere before? I hate to freak you out but I might like more' so don't act weird and I just won't ignore You" Yeah these feeling have got the best of me I'm high on insecurities And blues but they don't sound like blues to me so lets just do this happily Up here it's so confusing All of the time Now you're mine And now I'm looking at all the little differences as if There's nothing new to do and there's nothing new to try And I've lost track of where I'm going but I'm sure that there's a will and I'm sure that there's a why And this is a time place circumstance all being conjoined I could try to figure out but I'm scared of what I'll find So instead I'll sit here and toy with my mind Until I can crawl into a little spot by the sun Better think fast now while I'm still young Give me half a second just to stop and say "I'm done" Up here it's so confusing But soon I'll be fine Now you're mine.
10.
Your demons wait beside your best excuse They open up the escape hatch for you They side with you until you've lost all hope They slow you down until you've missed the boat So when you gonna make your move? When you gonna start turning the screws? Cause when they call time on you The end's as easy as 1-2-seppuku Honourable gentlemen please don't judge My prints may match but to me it's just a smudge I refuse to respect your authority For I am stubborn in my stupidity So here I am making my move Here I stand to see this shit fall through Cause when they call time on you The end's as easy as 1-2-seppuku Withheld by law
