lyrics

Except the breeze everything is getting heavy
Feels like I'm living in a bad TV show
The world at large is staying in and watching me
Stumble and stupor through a script I haven't learnt
But jokes aside it seems I've led the chase to nowhere
And nowhere's scenic so I guess I'll have to stay
No destination set just yet I'll stay the author
To hand the reigns it tempts me everyday
As if they beg and plead we're asking nicely
As if they're digging amphitheatres for my say
Sunset falls enough to declare the day as over
The waves remain just shuffling away

God I really fight this?
Can I really?
God I really fight this?
Can I?

The waiting game remains a poor and distant allie
A strange surrounding harbours me I thank it so
The ocean air breeds squeaky doors I'll see them later
Some give their power away and still they steal the show
